MACK GRADY (Mickey Gilley) is a very successful country singer/songwriter. He has had 39 hits and 17 songs that went #1 on the Country Charts, including “Headache Tomorrow (Or A Heartache Tonight).”
     Mack’s life took a dramatic turn when his wife and 30-year-old son were killed in a car crash. Since then, he’s become disinterested in his theater, skipping performances and spending his time on the golf course or fishing.
     After meeting Joey Riley, Mack has decided to start living again, performing again and maybe loving again, starting with his cute blonde employee Irene (IRLENE MANDRELL).
