PEG MARS (Toni Clinkingbeard) is Mack’s salty, savvy Director of Promotion and Publicity. She’s surrogate mother to all, and because she’s had five husbands (whom she refers to by number) there’s nothing about men she doesn’t know, hasn’t seen, or can’t predict. She’s doesn’t hesitate to give opinions or advice, especially to Rainey, whom she’s taken under her wing. However, there is one man Peg would consider for her sixth husband – Merle Tubbs (MEL TILLIS).
